No, you don't want to be fat. You want to be healthy. Eat well and don't deprive yourself of calories, especially from healthy eating.

I have 40 pounds I will send you. :) No seriously, you don't want to gain weight by eating particular kinds of foods. That is fat, and it's much much much harder to get rid of than to gain. You say you can't go to the gym; can you go there just to look at their protein supplements? They have weight gain supplements for body builders, and you can talk to them about the supplements, likely without joining. They'd rather sell you supplements than not get any business from you at all. If they won't talk to you without you giving some money, go elsewhere. There is a ton of information on this on the Internet. Please do this healthily; talk to a doctor first. You might have some condition that would make anything unsafe, like high or low blood pressure. And by the way, I only weighed 95 pounds until I got into high school, which was tenth grade back then. There was no obesity then, or not very much, very unlike today where a lot of young folks are overweight. Be grateful you don't have to LOSE it. It is very very very hard to do. At any age. Best of luck.

I asked my own doctor this, as I am about 114 lbs and have very skinny arms and basically, very little shape.
She said to drink Ensure, which is a vitamin/protein supplement that is often given to the elderly that are frail.
Otherwise, follow a standard diet of having a protein, a starch and a vegetable at every evening meal.
Exercise to tone and build muscle, but don't overdo it and try to take in more calories than what you are burning off each day. (Muscle weighs more than fat, and also creates curves , so it gives shape to the arms and legs).
Other than a healthy diet and moderate exercise, your individual metabolism will determine how much weight you can put on as you age.

you need to work on gaining muscle mass as well as weight, you need to take in more calories than you are burning, I will give you the link to a web site that you can easily track your intake and expenditures (yes it's a diet website but it will work for you as well) they have all the nutritional info for thousands of foods and if they don't have it you can input the info easily as well, and they have the amount of calories burned by almost every activity you can imagine LOL. When you do eat fats you still should make sure they are healthy fats like fish and olive oils, but you can get away with having that slice of pizza and hand full of chips and not have to worry about it ;) LOL

i'm your weight too
i want to want to be fat, if that makes sense!
its ridiculous that i am so thin yet still worry about what i eat and eat little
as to answer your question, calculate how many calories you consume a day, it might be less than you should, that might be why you are skinny, if that is the case, just eat generally more. if you eat a healthy amount, eat more healthy foods that have just a lot of calories, for example, avocado, olive oil, oily fish. have a sweet pudding after dinner, if you fancy chocolate or cake or whatever then have it.

I had the same problem as you. I hated it, I was awkwardly skinny and felt like I'd never grow. In my freshman year of highschool I had some major changes: my body finalIy filled out and I grew a little bit taller. Just give it time, people's bodies just mature at different rates.

Eat lots of fish...a lot, Fish are good for your brain and contain FATty acids (the good ones) so I think you'll gain some meat on those bones and also be a bit more healthy while you're at it.

I'd think loading up on carbs would be the way to go. No sweets or animal fat, but things like pasta, starchy veggies that sort of thing.
