i need to know if there is a website to get (new york) public online court records? i need it for like, traffic tickets, misdemeaners, and/or felonies. are there any free sites out there? please help if anyone knows of a website. and please no jokesters, no smart answers... this could save a childs life from being abducted and/or put in a dangerous situation. thank-you.

that info is generally not available to the average person; only to cops.
if someone served time in a NYS prison, you can stil llook their record up in the NYS Corrections website,
http://www.docs.state.ny.us/
which would (name only) tell you were they served, and when.

If it really is as dire as you say, contact your local police - they would be happy to prevent an abduction. Even if they can't reveal info to you, they would still be apprised of the situatation, and better prepared to act (even keeping an eye on the person in question).

Most stuff you need to go through a police department. there's nothing like this that goes for free...check with your local police and i'm sure they can try and help you out.
