In the same vane, shouldn't members of dance bands (like 98 degrees, Spice Girls, IN Sync) be disqualified too? And why is Cuban pretending to be a newcomer when he used to be a PROFESSIONAL DANCE INSTRUCTOR?

You sure can't tell when he is dancing! He is not one of the best out there. Shouldn't Sabrina be disqualified since she has all of this dance experience?

I think that the more dancing, singing, performing experience they have the better, but if they weren't ballroom dancers, then it's all new moves they are learning. Jayne Seymour trained for a time in her youth as a dancer. Marie Osmond was all the time dancing with Donny on stage when they had their show, Wayne Newton dances as he sings, I guess everyone has a little dancing ability or experience. The athletes seem to be doing the best each year though, because there is athleticism involved and stamina, besides dancing ability which is basically rhythm.

I don't think Mark Cuban should be disqualified for being a professional dance instructor. In fact, if I were the judge, I would expect him to use it to his advantage. Also, keep in mind that Joey Fatone from *NSYNC was part of the DWTS cast, and yet he and his partner were never disqualified at any point because of his past career.

Dude, it's a cheesy reality show that shouldn't be taken this seriously. Who cares? No one, just as long as people watch it. It's not a real competition. These celebrities aren't going to win millions of dollars or contracts. As long as dopes like you watch the show long enough to be fed advertising, then it doesn't matter.
