I AM SORRY TO HEAR THIS. I TOO HAVE A DEBILITATING CONDITION THAT MAKES SOME DAYS HARDER THAN OTHERS. MID 30'S AND ALREADY HAVE TO A WALKER AT TIMES. I STRUGGLE DAY TO DAY ALSO. THIS IS WHAT I THINK WE BOTH NEED TO DO. WE NEED TO KNOW THAT WE CONTROL US, NOT WHAT WE HAVE. WE DECIDE WHEN WE WANT TO COME AND GO AND DO WHAT WE WANT AND NEED TO DO. I KNOW THERE ARE TIMES IT SO HARD TO EVEN GET OUT OF BED, LIKE TODAY FOR ME, BUT I HAVE TO MAKE MYSELF. WE NEED TO HAVE A LOT OF SUPPORT ROUND US AND A LOT OF PEOPLE IN OUR LIVES THAT MAKE US FEEL GOOD ABOUT US WHEN WE CAN'T. WE HAVE TO TAKE CONTROL AND NOT LET IT CONTROL US! LETS FIGHT TOGETHER.

No doubt you feel like it's the end of the world for you, but it's not. Epilepsy is just some short circuits in your wiring...and it could happen to anybody. You're still just as smart as anybody else...maybe smarter...so don't get down in the dumps. Nowadays most people can be controlled with medication and be as normal as if they were not epileptic.

So you can get along with your life...don't fret over your condition...it could be a lost worse.

I have epilepsy and it doesnt really affect me.

Please elaborate on what seizures you have, and what medication you are taking and I will edit my answer accordingly.

Most epilepsy can be stopped with drugs and about half dont stay with you all your life. If you developed it in late adolescence or in adulthood like me, you are in the best position.

There are treatments and medicines available for epilepsy. By all means, find out all you can about it! The physician treating you should be able to give you information.

Good luck!

actually i haven't seen yet someone with epilepsy having his seizure but i think it is very hard, and the concern doctor is the one you should ask question for,but my opinion is you should not feel prejudiced about your situation, because people around you definitely will not make fun of yours, it's just a matter of thinking and feeling good for yourself, cheer up life is still beautiful.
