funny you mentioned it, i am a former Catlick(oops, is that Catholic?) LOL. i was never really religious though, even though i was a member. i never believed in the Virgin Mary.
i totally agree with ya but i think u got the wrongish religion so to speak. i think these traits are often more common in members of Protestant religions and denominations. many of these people think they're so holy just because they go to church, kiss up to the pastor, etc. they do something wrong and they ask for forgiveness and they're automatically forgiven. what a load of clap trap.
im very glad im free now.....even though i was Catlick(sorry ,Catholic), i always had doubts and i questioned in my mind. i got baptized at age 4. oh well, thats all out the window now!

O.k. Here is the reason.. If you really believe in God and have faith that He exists, here is the problem with The Catholic faith, they do have many wonderful people of that faith in their church, however, the papacy has gone astray from Gods true word. If you sit down and ask God to direct you in the truth and take the time to read the bible you will see that their are many blasphemies in the papacy as opposed to Gods true Word (the bible). The first thing that the papacy has made the mistake of is telling their parrish that it is not necessary to read the bible. God wants us to read the bible because all men were created with sin, including the Pope. If we read it the first message that we will see through out the Bible is that God is a very loving God. Therefore, my point is that because people are of sin so therefore they cannot make you happy, if you focus on God our Father, God our Son, and God the Holy Spirit, He will direct you and guide you and help you to find the truth... People cannot and wil not direct you, The road to the devil is wide, but Jesus's path is narrow. Being a Christian is not easy, those who want to be worldy will never know God.... I hope this helps a little

When Catholics sin, we go to confession. We don't cover it up, we take it to God, receive absolution and "go and sin no more." Catholics are not in the habit of "airing their dirty laundry in public." I know of few protestants who want their sins broadcast all over creation. Do you publicize YOUR sins or keep them between you and God?
When a person stops going to Catholic church, there is rarely any follow-up for several reasons. First, we Catholics are responsible for our own faith. We're not supposed to be dependent on somebody else holding our hands and making us go to Mass. Second, the Catholic Church is universal, so you don't HAVE to go to the same parish every week. If you stop going to St. Whatever, the pastor of St. Whatever will probably assume you are now going to St. So-and-So. He's not a mind-reader, you know. He can't possibly know that you're disgruntled about something or having problems or whatever unless you tell him.
Catholics believe that we're all the "chosen one" - in other words that Jesus died for all our sins and wants to save all of us.
No idea what you mean by "acting all innocent when they know they are wrong." When I know I'm wrong, I admit it quickly because I like to have things resolved, and that's the fastest way to do it.
If a person is not part of Catholicism, they are no threat to me, so I don't know where you're getting that.
Your personal experience is really, really limited, same as mine or anybody else's. You should not base your assumptions about BILLIONS of people based on a few personal experiences.

O.okay. Here is the purpose.. If you quite feel in God and feature religion that He exists, this is the obstacle with The Catholic religion, they do have many exotic men and women of that religion of their church, nonetheless, the papacy has long gone off course from Gods actual phrase. If you take a seat down and ask God to direct you within the reality and make an effort to learn the bible you are going to see that their are many blasphemies within the papacy versus Gods actual Word (the bible). The the very first thing that the papacy has made the error of is telling their parrish that it's not crucial to learn the bible. God needs us to learn the bible on account that all guys had been created with sin, adding the Pope. If we learn it the primary message that we can see by way of out the Bible is that God is an overly loving God. Therefore, my factor is that on account that men and women are of sin so for that reason they can't make you blissful, if you happen to recognition on God our Father, God our Son, and God the Holy Spirit, He will direct you and advisor you and aid you to uncover the reality... People can't and wil no longer direct you, The street to the satan is large, however Jesus's direction is slender. Being a Christian isn't effortless, people who wish to be worldy will on no account recognise God.... I wish this is helping slightly

I'm a catholic and I don't go to church anymore but they don't ignore me (that's just a silly statement) I'm free to come and go as I like. It's a very simple religion, just be kind and help full to others whenever possible. If you think about it you shouldn't even need a religion to tell you that.

I think you need to dispense with the blanket condemnation of all Catholics and start doing the fair thing - take people, Catholic or not, one at a time.
Generalizations are ALWAYS wrong.

This is like any other religion. When you leave one or the other, they still may remain superficially nice or even ignore you completely either way, you are dropped. Do you really think you would keep any of your old religious friends if they were really into their religion. That is how religion works, you are either one of them or you are out. Please don't think this just applies to Catholics.

This may be from your personal experioence with some catholics, but MY personal experience is that most of the Catholics I know do not behave this way.
If you want to understand the catholic faith, study the documents of the Catholic faith. Some Catholics you may know may not be good examples of what Catholics believe.
