you are right? about your belief whatever it may be, reinacarnation, heaven etc, what makes you so positive you are right and everybody else is wrong? I dont mind hearing opinions, but it just burns me up to hear somebody say " there is no heaven" reincarnation is not in the Bible and is not real" you cant be positive, have you died? have you passed over and God told you? really there is some proof of reincarnation in the Bible depending on how you look at it. so no you cant say for a fact ots not in the Bible. so why do so many of you push your opinions off as fact?

I don't think I'm right, I merely hope I am, and accept that I could be "dead" wrong- and I'll find out some day.

And if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. In the meantime, I live the best life I can- not because I fear life after death, but because that is the way to be to me.

Well, I'm sure I'm right because since I was a small child I have remembered my last life in the early 20th century. I know reincarnation is true for me and I assume it's true for everyone. I knew what my name was, who my mother was, how I died and numerous details about that life. During the time I was a devout Christian I still knew I had lived before, but wondered if only "cursed" people live more than once. I finally woke up and realized that Christianity demeans the idea of God, that only reincarnation represents absolute perfection.

lol. So... the bible is right because the bible says so. Thats not circular idiotic logic at all.

You know what? I DO know there is no god. Because I came as close to dying in 2004 as a person can come without actually expiring permanently.

There is no god. There is no heaven. There is no devil. There is no hell.

Edit: because I like to learn. Education is always a good thing. The problem is that I spend most of the time defending Atheism because of stupid fundies who keep doing aggravating things.

Believe it or not, I'd like to learn more about Buddhism, Asatru, and even Judaism. But the bloody Christians on here are so rude, and pushy, that hardly anyone of those faiths ever posts on here.

it makes me want to smack all the Christians.

I don't care if I'm right or not.
I have no way to gage.
I believe in living life as a good person. I expect no reward.

If death is the very end, I have no prblem with that.
If there is reincarnation or continuation of any kind, so be it. I'll hopefully play the next hand as well as I can.

I'm comfortable believing I'm right and I feel I am sharing my opinion and knowledge of why I believe my opinions to be true.

I can comfortably say I am absolutely sure that the gods men have invented do not exist....which is all of them. A non-personal deity or the like, meh...it really doesn't matter then does it?

But truly, I don't believe there are any deities at all. I don't think anything happens after death. If it does, then cool. If not, then cool too.

If you know JESUS, then you know the TRUTH because He said I AM the TRUTH. And when He comes into your heart through your step of faith He gives you that assurance. You just know that you know He is true. And nobody can say or do anything to take that knowledge of TRUTH away. Look at the Martyrs... why would anyone want to die for a lie? unless they were certain beyond certainty that they were standing firm in the TRUTH of Jesus Christ.

I can't prove anything. I just know deep down inside I am right. I state my opinion if I am asked about it. I don't push it on anyone. I am a born again christian and if you want to know how and why I believe you can ask me. I base everything on faith. Faith in what I cannot see with my eyes but what I feel in my heart.

The same way people believe their religion is like the same way people believe science has proven how life started and until science can prove that life can from non-life neither has any proof. We are still guessing on all of it.

At the root of your question lies my opinion. The lack of a scientific, empirical evidence supported, answer is not proof of a Divine Existence.

How does the Bible count as evidence for an afterlife or reincarnation? It's just a collection of books written by ancient superstitious men.
