No, no.. don't say that!! It has a sexual connotation.

The correct sentence is "He conocido/conocí a un atleta famoso".

If the 'athlete' is a woman you must say "...a una atleta famosa".

"Atleta" is a feminine noun, regardless of the
gender of the person involved.
In your text, "he satisfecho" means "I
