People are suggeting I use COLLOIDAL SILVER for a common cold or allergies. Is this safe? Anyone actually use it??

Colloidal silver is a very powerful antibacterial agent and is supposed to be capable of killing 650 different pathogens, if you believe that claim. The health benefits are a long list.
A web search for "colloidal silver" + "health benefits" will tell you much more.

Perhaps you can find some useful information in a web search for "colloidal silver facts". Apparently some products sold as colloidal silver are actually 100% ionic silver which is grossly inferior to true colloidal silver which normally contains 50-80% of colloidal silver and 20-50% of ionic silver. People who ended up with argyria in most cases or probably all cases got it from ionic silver and not colloidal silver. If you make your own at home you will most likely end up with 100% ionic silver. Any health product without a seal around the cap on the bottle or container looks very suspicious. All vitamin bottles and containers seem to have a seal around the cap.
