Wake up will you? Illegal Immigration No MATTER WHO Does IT affects everybody and takes away Your rights as a Legal Citizen!

Illegal immigration is illegal immigration. The key here is illegal. It has nothing to do with a person's race or heritage. I couldn't care less if they are white, brown, blck, yellow or green. This is the US and we should accept anyone from anywhere, that is what this country is based on. However, we do not have the resources to take everyone who wants to come into the country, just because it is here. Once this country was established, and for the greatest part of what is considered the European immigration, people came in through Ellis Island, were processed, evaluated, and accepted or deported. They did not slide through ditches and through shallows in the rivers at night. Their expectations were to come and earn US citizenship, not to stay as illegals, and demand righs to free education, driver's licenses and other services, and have an expectation that they could work for cash without paying any taxes.

There is a difference. Legal immigration is fine, and I endorse anyone who comes through the system.

I will propose this social reform here... lets empty our prisons...let them immigrate illegally into Mexico... maybe give them brochures to the nice tourist sites... it would save the US money, and then when President DeLorenzo wanted to discuss immigration, we would have something to discuss.

Mexico makes up only part of the 12 million. I don't care if it were 12 million Catholic priest, if they are unwilling to abide by the law and are here illegally, they must go.

Frankly, I believe any person found here illegally should be barred for life from any other consideration for entry into this country. They have demonstrated their disregard for the law.

Illegal is illegal.

Ask the citizens of England. They are pretty pi$$y about the polish illegal immigrants there.

How many times are you going to ask some derivative of this same question anyway?

Yes, particularly if the same language barrier existed (although, with Europe that isn't likely to happen.) The costs and burdens on our infrastructure, and the ruining of education and services is the issue.

Alternatively, why don't they pay for better infrastructure and more capacity HERE as they send $2.5 billion to Latin America to raise THEIR education and support THEIR middle class?

Yes, but they aren't. I'm still upset. IF 20 million illegals were destroying Mexico's infrastructure do you think THEY would be upset?

My biggest issue with illegal immigrants from south of the border is that they are driving down wedges and that hurts a lot of working class citizens who's wedges have already been stagnated since Ronald Ragan..so with me its definitely not about race but rather economics....
