Hubby knows that I like phone sex, and he doesn't mind that I do it...His only 'rule' about it is that I don't do it when he's home, so I'm not taking time away from him.
I don't want to stop doing something I enjoy, and he doesn't want to be the one to tell me not to do it. Relationships are all about compromise, and this works for us.

Yes it is cheating because now u and the other person have a certain connection or attachment to one another. What's to say ur not gonna want to meet the person and see what all the hub bub is about. If you conscience is bothering you then u are cheating and if ur conscience isn't bothering you its cheating. Your also meeting people and that may lead to something which will definitely be considered cheating and how would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot? So if you feel that if would hurt your feelings then don't do it to someone else. Just do people the way you want to be treated.

I think doing anything behind the person you're going out with's back is cheating. I accidentally did that one time, except it wasn't phone sex or anything, it was just that I spent so much more time with the other dude than the guy I was going out with. I know, I'm a freak and didn't know that was considered cheating... Ahh, well, live and learn :]

Cheating can be defined in many ways. Everybody and every couple has different boundaries. Therefore, an easy way of knowing you are cheating is if you are doing something behind your significant others back and you feel you can not tell them. If you know they will be upset by your actions then you are cheating.

It's cheating if you do sexual things with another person, even if you just masturbate while talking on the phone and there is no physical contact between you.
Being bisexual is beside the point. If you promised to be monogamous with one person, then doing sexual things with another person is cheating.

My husband told me that I could get with a chick if I wanted to and he would not consider it cheating for me, I never have but that is something you can talk to your husband about most men would not mind as long as they could watch but not join in.

I would think so. Would you consider it cheating if your significant other was doing the same without your knowledge??

If you feel guilty, then you are cheating.
If you think it would hurt her feelings, then you are cheating.
If neither are true - go for it and have fun.

What do you think. Put the shoe on the other foot (so to speak) and ask yourself how you would feel if your partner were doing what you are doing. Then you'll have your answer.
