I never used to dream, or rather at least I never remembered my dreams. But lately I have not only remembered my vivid dreams but I have found them mixing into my reality. ex: I dreamed that I made a business call. In reality I didn't make the call because I thought I had already done so. I regularly wake up in the middle of talking in my sleep. At least I think I wake up. For all I know it might have been part of a dream.

I am on meds for bipolar two. 100 Seriquil at night, 175 Lamictal morning and night, 150 Effexor morning and night, and .5 Ativan at night. Seriquil has been increased from 50 to 100 in the last few weeks, but until now it has always knocked me out cold. I would be in a deep sleep only 10 minutes after taking it. I still fall asleep quickly but I can't seem to get into a deep sleep.

I never remembered dreaming before. What's going on?

Oh yes, I definately have this problem. Just recently I've eaten the same piece of cheese 3 times. But you're right, sometimes it can be a problem when you think you've done important stuff. It might be the anti-depressants, although when I was on effexor it was less pronounced.

Depressed people dream more than normal people. It makes us more tired in the morning too because we haven't rested. I'm afraid I don't really know the answer, but if you find out could you let me know? i'll even give you a star :D

Btw, have you looked up long term side effects of effexor? They're evil.

I'm not a doctor but I'm sure meds can mess with your sleep. I know some drugs can cause vivid dreams. If they are, it is a negative side affect. You might need to discuss it with your doctor so they can possibly back them off a little.

Talk to the psychiatrist about this. It could be a side effect of the medication.
