i bought the tv last week and have connected the two audio wires(one red and one white) to the right place in the back of the tv and then into my stereo, but when i try to play it through aux there is nothing? I have tried all the other places in the back of my stereo but get nothing! Its not the wires as they are brand new. Can anyone help me please its driving me mad!

Most TVs output analog audio all the time. Most probably you connected "Audio Input" ports instead of "Audio Output".

Also, as a test signal use the sound from a TV station or component input,
If you input audio over HDMI, some TVs don't output audio over the analog audio output.

Finally, if your stereo has a digital input audio port, use that. You will get multi-channel audio (when available).

hey .Go to the sound menu on your tv.Find tv speaker setting ,should read on or off switch off and you should have sound output to your stereo .Don't know if the sound is variable but if so may alter output with normal volume control on set.Be aware you do not have output from speakers on the set when using out to stereo..
