I am a peaceful contributor to this section and honor what everyone chooses to believe. Why can't some of you, particularly those who have been condemning others to hell with a little too much certainty, just open yourselves to the world. It's a big place. Does anyone else think this weekend has been a rough one with all this anger and hatred? I welcome all thoughts. I really just don't understand and I'm generally used to what happens here. Many blessings and Namaste

I think it's been on all sides but there's been a lot of 'hell' being thrown around at a wide range of people.....

Maybe it's a "second wave" effect. Perhaps there is a new influx of people who haven't had time to work through this particular unpleasant forum phenomenon or be weeded by too much conflict. It'll subside, level off, rise again, just as other things do...a forum setting often brings out the worst in otherwise ok people, but sometimes it can enhance good qualities. I stay because it is intellectually stimulating and entertaining much of the time. Namaste and cheers to you, my friend!

People are always wanting to share thier own "opinions" about what they "believe". Many of them want to do as satan himself has attempted to do, and try to "step into God's proverbial shoes". It didn't work for satan & it certainly won't work for we humans either. No MAN with ONE exception (Jesus Christ) has the right to lay down "judgement" on any other. We humans cannot "see" the total of one another's hearts. Sometimes we cannot even "see" the "total" of our own hearts. It is GOD'S job alone to "judge" us.
We alone that live our lives as WE CHOOSE..which will be our own reward or condemnation.
So..in that regard, the only "advise" that I may be able to offer is to allow those harsh statements to "roll off your back as does a drop of water off the duck's".
YOU alone..all by yourself WILL stand before a Holy God. YOU alone will be accountable for YOUR choices.
May the Lord & Savior Jesus Christ who alone is worthy, be your Guide.

I am reminded of the meaning of the "last judgement." When we have no defect to project onto others, our anger and judgement ceases. Only then does reality mirror that inner perfection with peace.

A lot of folks sometimes confuse sarcasm with anger. I am personally not angry with anyone. I don't really care what someone else believes or if their belief coincides with mine. My personal philosophy is "If it feels good, do it. If it feels real good, do it twice." I am not humble. I am arrogant, brash, and sarcastic. I may make fun of your argument if it is faulty, but it is the argument, not the person. The person can change his/her argument or stick to their guns. It makes no difference to me.

It is sads, but on BOTH sides, there is condemnation and name-calling. Someone earlier this morning advocated killing everyone who lives in The Bible Belt.

It's wholesome for us to search for methods toward cultivating Patience in our lives.
Learned much from Thubten Chodron's book
"Working With Anger" which teaches how to Cultivate the mental factor, quality/virtue of Patience. She defines Patience as the ability to remain internally calm and undisturbed in the face of harm and difficulties in life.
*Meditation: such as Yoga, Mindfulness (Vipassana) Meditation and Loving-kindness Meditations help us to erradiate anger and hatred and enable us to cultivate patience, compassion, and wisdom.
Patience toward others and ourselves is a quality we all need to cultivate more of in our lives.
:-) *Metta to all.

Yom Kippur full moon sets wolves to how-ling
The world has always been round: globe-all
Twice fallen Baby-lon requires twice risen,
for reconciliation unto God above law law.
Grace with you all. Amen.

True knowledge is a gift of God. No one is condemned because he has not been given the gift, only if he or she does not follow his or her beliefs, his or her gifts. Who knows how God will judge us? Who has served as His adviser?
