Well, I don't know that our troops are actually doing any fighting for Israel. I have my doubts about that.

But we are cooperating with Israel for a very good reason; they are the one western style democracy in an area with actual monarchies (!) and "republics" that are reverting to monarchies.

So would you care to state where this is taking place??
Poor attempt at an anti-Israeli troll question.

Or are you trying to imply the war in Iraq is being fought for the Israelis??

When the whole world knows the Israelis have no involvement in it,

Probably if the Israelis were involved then Iraq would be under control by now, as they know how to fight.

Both Democratic and Republican administrations have allowed Israel to purchase US made weapons and military hardware. Israel purchases from other countries too. This does not mean that we fight for them or we serve them in any way. It's business, they buy military equipment from us and their government's policies do not violate our policies to allow them to purchase that equipment. The US does not sell to other countries in the region that may pose a threat to the US or become enemies of any friendly countries. We learned from Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. I don't think that we want to fight against our own weaponry.

Hey genius! In case you haven't noticed, Israel is perfectly capable of fighting their own battles! They don't need our help, and have actually fired on our ships, when we have come to close during their operations. In '67 I think it was, they very quickly and handily defeated 4-5 of their "Neighbors" We do however have some anti-missile defense batteries stationed in Israel.

any actual proof? or are you spouting something some on told you?

here, go find real proof from a legitimate source, if you can do that then I for one will be amazed, because i am sure you will find that your claims are untrue.

But I have a feeling you could care less of your information was false or not, you just want to blame some one else.

(1) We're fighting terrorists... We're not fighting Iraqis. And we're doing so, not for Israel, but so that the Iraqi people will be able to govern themselves rather than be dictated to by a small minority. It is the terrorists who are killing Iraqi people targeting non-combatants. It is the terrorists who hid in crowds of non-combatants and fire at us knowing we don't want to fire into non-combatants. It is the terrorists who run and hide in mosques where they know we aren't supposed to go. The terrorist are not freedom fighters. They are thugs, punks. Cowards. They refuse to engage us. We take 20 of their lives to our one in skirmishes. In long battles we take upwards of 50 of them for every one we lose. Non-combatants are targeted because they don't fight back.

(2) And we're fighting them there because that's where they are. Quite frankly, I prefer them fighting us there than here.
