Is it fear!! Here is a quote by a Muslim, and judge for yourself.
"because we as Muslims do respect our religion unlike other faithful believers..we would do anything to protect our religion if anyone make harm..
should we just look and do nothing? if we did so, so there no use of faith.. "
To this person, he thinks that he respects his faith more than anyone else, and he will do ANYTHING to protect it.
There is a think line that is getting thinner everyday, and these days everything spoken or even implied about Islam is construed as an Insult to Islam and their prophet. Even if it was made by a Muslim. Look at what is going on between Muslims in Iraq. Sunnis and Shies are killing each other and each claims to be the true Muslim. They have the obligation in their understanding to do Anything to protect it at all cost, including riots, burring etc as it happened over a cartoon.
A young college student in Egypt is still in prison because he wanted equality between Men and Women, and Muslims and Christians. Now, Kicked out of school and on trial.
In one word it is fear.

Yes, I think there is a feeling of walking on eggshells because of so many followers reacting violently to being accused of being violent or feeling mischaracterized. This of course is deeply ironic that people would protest being called a violent religion with being violent. Not all are like this by any means but I have a lot of concerns sometimes. I try to judge each person as an individual and have known people who followed Islam who were great people. The other day a follower of Islam posted a question about how Islam was a religion of peace and tolerance and if any one had any questions to post them in response and he would answer. I posted a few questions about how if it were a religion of peace why death for apostates in some Muslim countries and why are women sometimes killed for things like being raped, not dressing appropriately, or being alone with a man they aren't related to. Are these things supported by the religions beliefs or not? If not why do they occur so often in the Muslim countries with laws based on Islam? The question was deleted and I never received an answer by email either.

Witch searching any team of human beings is incorrect yet Political correctness is rubbish. that could be a sort of brainwashing the a lot from the so-referred to as elite to persist with a programme of stupid thinking. I believe conversing your innovations and you're continually going to offend somebody. in case you do no longer talk up then you particularly do no longer understand and the others can no longer understand, can they? of direction there are some people who defame others even though they do. yet laptop is self-righteous, boring and a platform for the powers that be to maintain us the little human beings down there. it is not even superb English! Do you undergo in innovations that old Aesop delusion approximately the two men and the donkey? They have been taking a donkey to marketplace and a lot of human beings on their travels complained touching directly to the way the donkey became taken care of or the father or son became taken care of. the two men ended up tying the donkey onto a pole and wearing him themselves, of direction the undesirable donkey fell into the river and drowned. the ethical of the tale: He who tries to thrill anybody finally ends up eye-catching no person.

Its politically (and morally) incorrect to speak of any religion in a bad light. And as for those speaking negatively about Christians...who do you see doing in mostly? The Athiests. So why are you mad at the Islamic people?
And please don't spew your ignorant bile on this site. Become more informed. Thank You, and God Bless!

Thats what happens when you have too many bleeding heart liberals in the legal system. Common sense has left the room. All of the trouble makers and sensless special intrest groups have more rights than we all do. Even though we all out number them 100 to 1. Soon, it will be against the law to say the name of Jesus in public.

wel, if you want a more serious answer, i think that its politically incorrect to speak about islam because there is no real secularism in the said countries. for them, religion is politics, and vice versa. they have a holy priest, who can take the place of judge, to resolve judicial issues, even to make laws.
there is nothing in islam itself that spells hate or violence. it is just a proseletysing religion, born in an insecure era of fight or die. certain politically powerful islamic leaders and terrorists have used a wrong interpretation of islam to spread hatred and violence among there communtiy. such negative things are not koran-ic. for example, while present islamic culture suppresses women and their independence, it might be mentioned that the prophet himself married a rich widow, who had her own flouriching business, and she funded his missions. all he advised the women was to "dress decently" and cover up(didnt really mean wear burka or ull b tortured), so that the women are not the victims of the unrest, taking place at the time.
