Cost of living in Surrey?

I may have a chance at getting a new job in Surrey, England and need to know what he cost of living is like in this area? How much will I need to make to survive?

surrey is mostly hugely expensive (for example elmbridge, around weybridge, is one of the top 5 most expensive areas in england)

i used to live in guildford - a tiny 1-bed flat cost 650 a month + council tax (around £90) + bills. if you want a nice place in a central area, you're going to pay a lot - if you don't mind living out of town, or in a less nice area, you might find something more in your price range
