Hello Sweetheart: Your point of comfort is exactl what this person has expressed to me. But I pointed out to them Duet. 22:5, but they came back with "The Old Law has been done away with so I am free to wear them any time I want."

This person is wanting to wear panties and has found a place online that actually sells men's tights. He is not wanting the world to see, but just wants to wear them because he likes the feel.

It has nothing to do with Christianity. It has everything to do with your culture.

Men cannot wear women's clothes because in this society, as well as many others, we have been socialized to believe that it is a sign of something wrong with the man, such as homosexuality, transvestitism, whatever. You may not be old enough to remember this but David Bowie, a singer, once wore a woman's dress outfit and people nearly lost their minds. There are men who wear women's stuff for comfort, they say. Wearing a skirt or dress gives a very nice feeling of freshness in the nether regions.

Exactly what men's clothes does your questioner think women wear?
Most of the gals I know don't exactly traipse around in boxer shorts and wife beater T shirts...
A woman does look rather ridiculous in a man's suit and tie...
In the time the law in the OT about not wearing the clothing pertaining to the opposite sex was written, men wore a tunic (a sort of a long T-shirt), a robe, or "outer garment", kept closed with a "girdle" or a sort of tie-belt. "Girding up the loins" meant gathering the ends of these clothes up between the legs and tying them, which made it easier to work.
Women wore long gowns, tied at the waist, covered with a shawl, which they could wear over their heads, or not. Oh, and by the way, women also "girded their loins" for certain types of work.
Did you know that there have been trousers for women for a very long time? They were typically shorter than men's trousers, ending between the knee and the ankle, and women wore a long shirt over the top.
Now, if you're talking about a man running around in women's lingerie, or perhaps showing up on the beach in a bikini...well, that would just make him look rather silly, don't you think?

Women's clothing is generally made feminine... but a lot of women's clothes in just casual--plain tshirt, baggy jeans, sneakers, etc... Men's clothes are usually made like a woman's casual clothing--plain tshirt, baggy jeans, sneaker, etc...

Oh and men can wear women's clothing. That is what cross dressers do... Just because its not widely accepted doesn't mean it isn't possible. But why would a straight man want to wear feminine clothing? Sometimes I don't even like women's clothing because it is so complex with all the accessories and gadgets and sparkly stuff and such... lol

first of all you have some very good answers...
I haven't found anything in the bible (yet) that forbids it and calls it a sin. A sin (according to the Oxford dictionary) is:"breaking of divine or moral law", if "society" has accepted the actions of a "transvestite" (a person who derives pleasure from wearing clothes of the opposite sex) then morally it's not a sin, divinely would have to depend on where the person stands in his faith.
I think the real question should be not is it consider a sin but why does the person feel the necessity to do it.
(Is wearing the clothes of the opposite sex a "salvation" issue?)

Actually, it isn't proper for a Christian woman to wear men's clothes, but as far as "sins" go, this one's pretty venial. But, strictly speaking, it is a sin.
