Thank you both for the judgemental answers on a matter that is clearly one of conscience..Scripturally...I left that kind of thinking when I walked out of the Kingdom Hall.

I thought you were a christian!

Why would you do this?

Aren't you concerned it will destroy your testimony and close the doors to witnessing of Jesus' love and truth to others?

I would recommend Idle hands on Lower Haight . . . .
575 Haight Street
San Francisco, CA 94101 (415) 552-4353
http://www.idlehandsf.com/
particularly Jason Grace and/or Holly Ellis and amazingly talented.
The Bay area is swarming with great tattoo shops though you are quite lucky.
You might also want to check through
http://www.tattoonow.com/tattoos/california/
there are pics of over 1500 fantastic tattoos done by artists in California or who visit California for conventions or guest spots.
There is a convention coming up in San Jose:
A Convention of the Tattoo Arts
10/26/07 - 10/28/07
South Hall
San Jose, CA
which is a great opportunity to check out many portfolios of work to help find the best artist to help you render the perfect tattoo for you.
Peace

Speaking for myself I wouldn't get a tattoo in the Bay Area but for that matter I wouldn't get a tattoo in any area. If you must have one at all the best area is the soles of your feet. If you have a hankering to be fashionable, buy yourself a new outfit. When it goes out of fashion you can give it away.

Which Bay Area?
Also, try inkednation.com
It's kinda like myspace but for tattoo artists and enthusiasts. You can search for shops in your area and they post lots of pics of their work usually.

LOL, I do not know what is the Bay area, and I do not know what is the best area, but if I ever have a tattoo I will have it on my butt ; )

There are eight articles here--your objection is to God's standards, not mine.
