On my old TV all of the sudden I see the time channel & speed on the screen. How do I get rid of it?

All the information is on the right side of the screen. This is a TV/VCR combo TV. I don't have a cassette inside.

Press the display button several times in a row and the display should cycle to "no display"....

There should be a button on the remote to display or suppress the "OSD" or on screen display. It sounds like you toggled it by mistake.
