Very good question !
When I came to this country I went with my son to a celebration of pentecostals ( I was very open minded then ) and I was very displeased to hear that the pastor criticized harsly the Catholic Church and the priests.
In more than 40 years that I belong to the Catholic Church, I have never heard any bad words against any other denomination
To wolf of the red:
Concerning that, protestants killed many people. Have you ever heard of the protestant inquisition ?
Henry VIII killed many people at the stake for religious discrepancies. Calvin burned Miguel Servet at the stake for the same reason.
Servet is famous for discovering the blood flow through the lungs, but he was burned the same

I wonder about that too. I know a lot about what some denominations DON'T believe, such as the Jehovah's Witnesses. I know that they don't like the Church, but I know nothing about what they DO believe. I would have trouble taking a church seriously if they define themselves mainly in the negative, as against something instead of for something.

I have never, in my world, ever heard another religion or church as a whole, put down the Catholic church. I have not ever gone into a church and heard people say to not go to the 'Catholic's church' or anything negative. On here, as we say, it is anonymous so people do vent their true feelings without fear of personal face-to-face rebuttal; but it is religion to religion, not just against Catholics.

I really don't believe that is correct. I enjoy the Protestant and Pentecostal people and their church, and have received alot from them. . . (I am very much a Roman Catholic) Many of my friends are not.
I have just attended a four different church based Revival, one Catholic, one Pentecostal, one Eli shadi ministry , one non-denominational. It was wonderful!!!

Pentecostals are Protestants.
The word Protestants means those that protest.
What are they protesting?
Of course we know it is the Catholic Church, and that is why they broke away from the Catholic Church.
The doctrine of the Catholic Church is flawed, so Protestants will always attack it. That is nothing new, it has been going on for centuries.

Because the true Church established by Jesus Christ will remain under attack until He returns, and sets up His Era of Peace......and at such time there will be one shepherd and one flock in the Catholic Church.

There is no one position about anything in Protestantism's myriad groups
As a Catholic I welcome well-informed advice and critiques from Non Catholics but usually they are not well informed or done in love
People who are more interested in attacking others than understanding them are too lacking in mature faith to proclaim anything positive,

We are not that way, but we have to ring the bell for truth the Catholic church lost its way back in the Roman times and is a hybrid of Christiananity and pagen religion. Its gotta be truth and correct. Sorry if this offends you.

Beats me. They have this "holier than thou" attitude which really gets to you.
To my Protestant brothers and sisters: "Judge not that you be not judged for the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you." - Jesus Christ
