Yes physics is a subject about things which are real. You can't pass a physics exam by saying
'I dont know what Einstein was going on about but i BELIEVE in what he said'

Yes, I believe there is.
Physics is, well, physical. (Believe me, the pun was not intended.) (HONEST!!) That is, it is a natural science, that anyone (assuming that he has at least an average I.Q.) can apply themselves and study, and understand. When a physics student takes an exam, there are right answers, and wrong answers. As our technology advances, we can discover new things in the field of physics. (Maybe, eventually, someone will discover a simple explanation for how gravity actually works.)
God, on the other hand, is spiritual. Anyone can study theology (again, assuming at least an average I.Q.). A student can learn, for instance, the approximate dates that scholars agree that some major event, such as the Tower of Babel, for instance, happened, or the names of important people in religious history (what they did, and why they were important), such as Tamar, for instance...and students on a test can get a "right" or a "wrong" answer. However, there are no "right" or "wrong" answers as to the nature of God. God is completely outside of our human experience. There is absolutely no way anyone can "know" anything about God unless God reveals it to him. No matter how advanced our technology becomes, that can never change.

I admit that I dont know a lot about either
but I feel the difference is
with physics ... there is one answer to each question ( when it has been studied and agreed on )
with God .... which God ?
so many answers from so many people

Yes, it takes intellect to understand physics, and it takes spiritual revelation to understand God, but even the most diligent disciple of Christ cannot know all about God.
Isa 55:
8: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

You can understand how physics works without believing it is true. Know its limitations and contradictions, know where it is useful and where more approximate methods are better.
As for God..no idea really, so many different Gods, religions, paths.

Many of us do understand science, but when you get into the area of theories there is left wing and right wing thinking. Wouldn't you say?
