i don't know what it's called, but if you want to go to church to worship, it should'nt matter what you wear.....just remember you were naked when you were born.... church leaders should be thankful people(in general) wear clothing , during thier everyday activities, including going to church.

Unfortunately many churches have these ridiculous legalistic rules and regulations which drives away many people who are seeking to know God. Jesus never turned any one away who was in need of His grace and mercy. However, people turn away the most needy of the human race. Find a church whose doors and hearts are open and welcoming to all sinners who come in search of redemption and fellowship.

Many chruch leaders get caught up in such things as a way of exerting power and control over the conregation. Maybe its time to find another church body.

Yes..... ROGER..... It is Nothing more than.... " LEGALISM....!"

Simply ask them...... " Can you show me .... in the BIBLE.... Where Men have to Wear A Tie ? "

Ask for Chapter and Verse....!

Sounds LIKE.... A Country Club.... INSTEAD OF..... A Real Church....!

Thanks, Roger R.

Yes it undoubtedly is legalism. Try going to a church that doesn't look like one from the outside

Yes. I believe in dressing appropriate for church. But I do know of anywhere in scripture where it says what is appropriate, except that it shuold be modest.

I guess if the church elders want to enforce a "dress code" Sunday morning, it would certainly be their right.

Just like it would be my right to find another place to worship!

Man teaches religion so their are man made doctrines introduced as a string attached that you have to do, It is not of God or a requirement of his.
