You have an excellent score on the EFC to receive the Pell Grant. The EFC refers to Estimated Family Contribution according to a formula devised by the federal government. The best EFC score is 0 because you will receive the entire Pell Grant. If you attend full time, you will receive approximately more than $3,500 from the Pell Grant towards your college education. In a week or so, you will receive the SAR report which will give approximately what you qualify for federal wise. The last thing you will receive is the financial aid report/letter from the school breaking down your entire school award of financial aid. From the school, you could receive need based scholarships from the endowment fund, work study award, and student loans in addition to the Pell Grant. If there is anything left over after the tuition is paid, you will receive a check from the school itself. I would not worry until you get your financial aid letter from the school itself on your contribution just yet. Good luck!

The highest EFC is 99999. The lower the number, the better.
