Too far away??? Actually there are seven Heavens mentioned. The one you talk about is the seventh one. Heaven will actually be on this Earth one day after Jesus comes back for His own. If you have to die to get to Heaven, what about those that have gone there before like Elijah that was taken to Heaven in a whirlwind? Many say when you die you go to Heaven but where in the bible do you ever find that one? In truth, YOU DON"T!! Nowhere in there does it ever say you go to Heaven when you die. If you did, what would be the sense in Jesus coming back for His people? NONE!!! Just does not make any sense, does it? Anywhere you see heaven in the bible it speaks of heavens, more than one. One is considered to be the air around us and goes up to a certain point, then the second one comes in that is above that and on and on till you get to the seventh one that is where God is now. Nobody really knows for sure where that one is but for God and the few that have gone there with Jesus when He went back. It is too far for us to imagine where it is even or getting there. If you look at the size of the universe, you can see how big God is to have made such a huge thing. More important to read your bible and study to see what the truth really is.

"Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
