If your knee starts bothering you during basic, go to sick call to get the Army docs to determine what is wrong.

Shes right, they won't let you bring one and wear it. Here is what you have to do, first off when you go through MEPS you may want to talk to them see if they can fit it in to say that you should wear a knee brace issued by the army. If they won't, go to basic and get one there. It happens, I wear one now, but I never wore one when I came in. Either that or you can just ignore the pain until AIT then get one. Once you get to a permenant duty station, nobody really says much to you. Good luck

Generally your not allowed to wear anything that has not been approved by the military. My suggestion go to sick call and have them diagnose the problem and they'll decide your treatment if it requires a wrap they'll give you one and most likely they'll tell you to ice it as well. You'll be given pain killers such as Ibuprofen or Naproxen. And if it requires you to be on profile you'll be limited on some activities such as running road marches and carrying some equipment.

LOL... yeah, its gonna be you and a doctor in a private room. it is not that undesirable. Now unfold your cheeks! you gets a urinalysis, blood attempt, listening to, blood rigidity, imaginative and prescient sorting out, top weight and each little thing you may think of. the better section grew to become into the duck walk. you would be in a room with 20 different adult males, all on your boxers, being asked to stroll like a duck and doing all loopy stuff.

It's up to your doctor and the military. I would think if you have some problems with your knee they may not want you in basic until it's better
