It appears that he was put in a nice cool tomb hewn out of rock and a great big stone rolled in front of it. Eventually two guards were sent to keep an eye on the tomb so that no-one could remove the body and say that he resurrected from the dead.

As an atheist, I believe that when Jesus died...he was buried, and his disciples uncovered his tomb and moved the body to some place where it wouldn't be found....they then made up the story about the resurrection because it was prophecied.
No account of Jesus's resurrection is first hand information. It's all word of mouth passed down thru several generations, until it was finally written down.
