Last night I dremt that I was in a beautiful palace sitting in front of a hugh throne, and seated in the throne was a big red scaley monster with horns. In front of us was an enourmous hourglass and were were both staring at it restlessly, but the monster was patting me on the head saiding "be patient my son" and it made me feel reassured.
It was so vivid that I just have to know what it meant, I've been thinking about a career change lately so maybe it has something to do with that. Can anyone help?

That sounds insanely normal to me.

Your brain is telling you to be patient.. Sometimes a person is so anxious to leave a company/career, but he/she has not done everything necessary to guarantee a successful transition.

Make a checklist of the things you will need to do to change careers. Indicate in the checklist the timing of each entry.

Only when you have a written job offer in hand consider resigning from your current position. Always request a written job offer. Squint at the job offer and company - is the job offer solid from the perspective that the job position is a long term position within that company? So many people take new jobs which are eliminated a few months later - not a firing but a position elimination during a corporate downsizing.

Do a lot of research on your future company and industry. Look at the financial analyst reports of how each company has been doing historically, any reports of layoffs, if the industry is in an upturn/downturn (if there is a forecast for a near future downturn). Has a company had a lot of executive management turnover recently? What are the reviews of each company's products or services. Lots and lots of research..

Then maybe in a future dream your "big red scaley monster with horns" will give you a thumbs up.

Dreams are funny and oftentimes wonderful - a feedback loop as our greymatter churns away at night to process all of our worries, hopes and the many sensory inputs we collect while awake.

Good luck!

Dreams are best interrupted by how you feel in them and what you are thinking. Ask yourself simple questions.

Why a monster?
What was he to you?
How did you feel around him?
Were you intimidated or was he just scary looking?

The same for the Hourglass.
What was it to you?
What was it about looking at the hourglass that caused you to be nervous?

I'm not great at making interpretations, but I can still take a whack at it.

Maybe the palace was a comfort zone for you. Meaning that you have everything you need to make you happy or at least content with your life, but sitting around makes you feel aggitated like you should be doing more with your life.

The monster is some part of your psyche. It's seems to not be a person, as much as it's a part of you. It would explain why you and the monster both look at the hourglass restlessly.

The monster is something that looks out of the ordinary meaning that it's something that's different than you are use to. He is the change of what you are or want to become. Not so much as a monster in the evil sense, but something different that what you are now."be patient my son" is you reassuring yourself that the change will come.

I agree with the people who say that dreams are the mind refreshing itself by releasing information, but dreams also create stories, perspectives on situations, and can cause a great variety of emotions. Understanding our dreams can help us understand a little bit more about ourselves. I don't think we should just discount it as usless.

The beautiful palace with the throne is symbolic of heaven, Jesus said in His house there are many mansions (John 14:1ff); the red monster seated on the throne bears imagery similar to that of the antichrist or man of sin, taking his seat in the temple, in 2 Thessalonians 2 we read:

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." - 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4.

The hourglass is pointing to the end of a specific time period and "patience" is a virtue from which comes good things, the fact that it was a monster who is giving reassurance should be view with skepticism.

Perhaps the dream is pointing to the fact that as we go further and deeper into the last days, you should be extra cautious about those who appear trustworthy, when they are giving you advice.

i think that the dragon represents your hopes, dreams, fears, etc, as in, your desires are at the moment unreachable to you or that you feel your goals in life haven't been met yet and you are feeling the need to reach them(hence the monster being sealed up) the hourglass and the monster telling you to be patient i think shows that you feel like you are on a deadline, there are many things you want to do or change about your life and feel that you aren't moving fast enough to accomplish this. the dragon's advice is your subconsious telling you that while its great to have goals, desires, dreams etc...being patient sometimes is the only way because everything doesnt happen when we want it to, as well as waiting for something or working hard to make something happen makes you appreciate it more. hope this helps.

You must have had some weird dinner last night....but a monster with horns and you're thinking about a career change..be careful. Maybe there is somebody in your career that is making you think and feel reassured but underneath they're quite a monster.

It appears that deep inside your mind you are afraid that the proposed change in career may turn a failure, in which case you may need the support from those elder to you .As I understand this dream,it does not guide you to change your career or otherwise. The dream could be just your latent fears coming out.

Sorry. earlier I created Jesus, i attempted to create an incubus to bypass down and impregnate Mary, in spite of the undeniable fact that it grew to become out to be gay and not involved. that's as quickly as I invented the Holy Spirit. besides, this incubus looks lots like Jesus, so as that's probable who you observed, no longer the authentic Jesus.
