when we take in cats in our homes and let em eat em for our own benefit?

No, they don't get a say. Neither do the bugs when I bring the spiders in to eat them.

Some of the rats around here are big enough to eat the cats.

I haven't got rats in my home. I did used to have a pet white rat, but she died of cancer. She was very sweet, she used to sit on my shoulder and kiss me with her whiskers on my cheek and then curl up under my hair to take a nap. She was extremely smart too, and very curious. I miss her.
