No, in fact there are some studies that suggest a daily cuppa can be beneficial to your body. However, as with everything, it's all about moderation. Take care to remember that coffee, or tea for that matter, is a diuretic so it's taking some of the natural waters from your body. You should also be aware that if you don't often drink things with caffeine, you'll notice a change in your body and perhaps behaviour. Many people look forward to the morning perk up, but for some caffeine just isn't their thing. Test it out for a few mornings and see how you get on. You may want to start with instant coffee you make with boiling water before you commit to buying a new appliance. :O) Cheers!

There are no health risks associated with caffeine. There have been several studies to date, none have shown an increase in mortality with caffeine intake. Other problems might be associated with your coffee habit, depending on how you take it. I'm speaking of filter coffee (normal caffeinated). Decaffeinated has been shown to increase mortality. But if you're having lattes, you need to consider the volume of milk you'll be drinking in a day, and the fat content thereof. normal full cream milk is 4% fat, but eight grande lattes later, you're looking at 2 or more litres a day! that would be 80 grams of fat from your coffee alone!

One cup of coffee will not bother you at all. Even 2 cups of coffee is fine and it is great that you are having your coffee in the morning. Lots of people drink coffee at night and with the caffeine in the coffee it can make sleeping very difficult. Enjoy your coffee and don't worry about it.

I don't know, I never drink just one cup. it's at least 4 or 5 cups every day.

One or two cups a day is fine but go over that and you'll soon find you have high blood pressure and a higher risk of having a heart attack or stroke.

No, I don't think so. Just make it a small cup& don't have more than one a day.
