no, i don't find it exciting. it's just weird to read a book that's supposed to be the word of god and one day i find out from my proffesor in Religious Studies that a lot of things that are said to be wrong are found in the bible.(incest is just one example)

Presumably it wasn't easy to meet women outside your family in those days - so a lot of it went on.
Like all animals, humans have an instinctive revulsion against it. Any animal that doesn't is risking long-term extinction. In fact those that don't are in many cases already extinct - which is how natural selection works.
But sometimes other instincts outweigh that one.

It speaks of many topics. This is just one of them.
Do not get the idea that just because it speaks of something, it is recommending or condoning or encouraging some act. You have to read it to see what is being said. I say this because so many on R&S seem to think the Bible says what it does not say.

Cause it happens and prolly cause it was more common back then when there were fewer people on the planet..
Also the problem of genetic diseases due to incest was probally less likely....

It depends. You have to read the entire context in the Biblical account to determine the reason it is mentioned.

Time period. In bible times it wasn't immoral. Thankfully rational heads have declared a better morality and sex with your daughters is no longer considered a good thing.
