Doing these exercises will still help you stretch and look taller.
Stretch: Stand next to a wall, side ways and stretch one hand up against the wall. Now raise your heels as high as possible so that you are balancing yourself on the ball of your feet or your toes. Hold for 10-15 seconds and slowly come down. Repeat with the other side. Repeat as many times as possible. Make sure that you are disciplined with this exercise that is you do it every day.
Pull-ups: Get hold of a bar that you can fix to a doorway of one of the rooms in your house. You need to hold this bar with both your hands and pull yourself up from the floor and hang for as long as possible. This will be difficult initially, but slowly you will find that you are able to hold yourself up longer and higher. Again discipline is essential.
Third, make sure you walk/stand tall and straight and don't slouch.
If you have seen advertisements for products that promise to make you taller, beware, there are no pills or devices that can increase your height. Try to remember that height is only on aspect of who you are and that you have many qualities that you can control, like how you are as a friend, how hard you work and how you treat other people.
Good luck! and don't worry, your height is average.

you're height is fine!
but if you really want to increase your height here's some advice:
1.get as much calcium as you can!!
like drink milk and dairy products etc.
2. exercise loads: do running, basketball, soccer, swimming
these sports help you loads with bone strength and make you more fit.
3. drink loads of water, at least 8-9 cups through out the day
4. eat healthily- lots of carbs and fruit and veg.
5. believe it or not but you might still be growing so if you do the above advice, you might give you're growth a boost.
i can't garantee that it will increase you're height but you might as well give it a go...
even if it doesn't do anything- it'll make you healthier!!
hope it works!
GOOD LUCK!!!

As a young man, you probably have a couple of growing years left. Just take care of yourself the best way you can, and your genes will take care of the rest.
Now, one thing that can help you look taller at least is good posture. Make a habit of that, instead of walking around slouched over. Not to mention, you'll feel better about yourself and will be less prone to back problems down the road.

Get in a time machine, go back in time before you were born, and pick taller parents. As silly as that sounds, that is pretty much the best way to get taller. Genetics has more to do with height than anything else.

Jumping rope, jumping and exercise can help. Make sure you have the healthy diet too.
Height is subjected to genetic influence.
Up to certain age you will not grow taller and it is subject to gender.
So do not push yourself too far.
You are at 18 and already at 5'7, it is tall to me no matter you are male or female.

Exercise or play sports. You do have a few more years to grow (women peak at 18). Go to GNC or another nutritional store to see if there are vitamin supplements you can take.

Height is one aspect of human physiology that is not easily changeable without prosthetic surgery, and then it is only slight.

nothing sorry...you already passed the age for your growth spurt..in the extreme cases (not you) an endocrinologist may trial you on hormones but again, it would have had to be done when you were younger
