I could list a number of things that have happened since I first approached God with faith. But I suppose it all comes down to the fact that the more I approached with faith, the more I experienced God in my everyday life.

Why do I believe? The Lord Jesus Christ has always had a special place in my heart ALWAYS, I just didn't realize it all my life. Once I made that step to confess and accept Him as my Lord and Savior it was electrifying. He came to me and He really revealed Himself in a state of love just pure love it went through me and deep into my heart and mind and it did so much to me. It took away any doubt or confusion of who is God and just this knowing of who God really is, but for the first time I was able to see who I am, this perfect God showed not only Himself but myself and I really didn't think I was all that bad of a person but I was able to see all this stuff I did and I suddenly had this sense of awareness of the things I said (cussing) or where I went and what I do. I was totally in the world so it was amazing how loving and gentle God was with me and how He brought me out of my old life. There is no doubt Jesus is real! Thank You Jesus for everything.

I look at the world all around me and see the evidence of His presence so much that I cannot help but believe. How else is such a beautiful world with such wonderful people possible? Also, I have seen way too many people's lives completely changed by Christ, to not believe in Him.

There are many reasons. Among them:
1. Like you, my upbringing. I was lucky enough to have been raised by people who sincerely believed. I could see God's love in their lives.
2. My own struggle and discoveries when I was a teenager. (More or less what Paul describes in Romans 7 and 8)
3. A miracle I have experienced. Actually more than one, but this one was confirmed by a team of doctors. I described it here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhfasUK92d.qx001OU0I59Pty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070617055115AAIQzhe

it form of feels to me that the God a guy or woman believes in says so lots extra related to the guy than it does approximately God. some human beings seem to have faith in a cranky, vengeful, petulant God. Others have faith in a great determine interior the Sky God. some deny that there is any God in any respect. some say God is Love. No, i do no longer think of believing in a God demands that or no longer it rather is a great God, whether many human beings insist that each and every person which is sweet is God, and that each and every person which is evil is a devil or a devil. i think of if one specifies that the God is a author, then sure, it follows that each and every thing may well be the creation of the author. i like dreaming's answer. i think of of "God" as "That that's." i'm in basic terms a tiny drop interior the great Ocean. i do no longer declare to understand the form of the coastline :-))

I was luckily taught about Christ Jesus and God also as a child. I Never let my love for Them go. It says in the Bible, we are to love and accept Them as a little child would, and that faith has never waverd. I Love Them so much, and with every traumatic problem They solve, and all the gifts they have given me, I love Them and praise Them and thank Them every day.

I have read the bible, and I know it very well, I believe in it but do not believe in how man has taken it to abuse others and to gain power and money.

I was brought up in a Christian household and learned about Jesus when I was young. He has helped me and taught me through many years. He was with me through the death of both parents and my identical twin. He has helped me thrugh many hardships, diseases, etc.
God reveals Himself to me in many ways.
Jesus is my Savior, and I try my best to be like Him.

Well for me it was a very long, meandering road till I had a direct experience with God.
