Dan Brown, the author of 'The Da Vinci Code' has claimed that the only thing in his book that is real are the works of art. When people go to see the Louvre (based on the book) they are disappointed to discover that the men's room does not have a window from which Langdon escaped. Don't put so much stock into this great work of fiction.

It is possible, but it may be part of the movie that was fiction. Or rather speculation.

I am reminded that Europeans generally have a category of book which is neither fiction nor non-fiction, but Speculation. That was brought home to me when "Chariots of the Gods" and its sequels were published.

Dan Brown acknowledged that his story was fiction, but it is clear that he has included speculation and also facts. At the beginning he includes a page titled "Fact." He mentions that the Priory of Sion really existed, and that da Vinci has been identified as one of its members. Opus Dei also exists, but the characters in the story who are identified as members are fictional, so we must not assume any particular element is true. He ends with this comment: "All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents and secret rituals in this novel are accurate."

If you include Magdalene's tomb as "architecture," then you will conclude it exists. I do not assume so, myself, but I consider it possible.

i do believe this to be true.
our govt has ways of hiding truths they don't want us to know about .
but i believe we are getting the information form movies we see.
"red dawn" when a 3rd world country invaded the USA out in the middle of nowhere...
"close encounters of the 3rd kind".
"national treasure"
these movies are telling us something.. all you have to do is pay attention to the details and read between the lines...
watch them and let me know what you think
cheers
Jo
