Sugar cravings can be caused by several things, normally related to a lack of important minerals in your diet. A quick answer and one that tastes great is drinking green smoothies. They taste very sweet, are filling, and they wil fix your lack issue also. My favorite is...

In your blender:
Juice from 7 oranges
100 grams of Kale
4 dates
pinch of salt

I promise you won't taste the greens. This drink just tastes like a nice fruit smoothie. The Kale gives is a very creamy texture. You can substitute spinach but kale tastes better.

After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 160+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 4 years now. I've beaten 3 terminal diseases and I am now in amazing health, all around, not just thinner.

I did it without medicine, workouts, religion, going hungry or hating my food and without an operation or secret formula. I had tried counting: calories; carbs; fat; etc. I had tried jogging, swimming, weights, aerobics, crazy medicines and starving! But nothing ever worked well or lasted very long.

I also had Hypertension, High Blood Pressure, Chronic Asthma, vision and hearing loss. constant colds and ills, annual flu or pneumonia and more. I was approved for bypass surgery and taking usually between 16 and 20 pills a day.

take a look at my before and after pictures...

You are human. Food keeps our blood sugar stable. Carbs increase our blood sugar to keep our brain and body running. If you don't take in enough food, your body will crave sugar. Get plenty to drink, start eating normal meals, and consider a multi-vitamin with minerals.

When I was younger, I was anorexic. Now I am in my 30's and my skeleton and connective tissue is falling apart. My nervous system was damaged. Food is like gas to our bodies--it is not a negotiable item.

You can eat a whole lot of fruit and vegetables, drink plenty of water, have some sweets, some meats, and lay low on high fat or high carb foods and stay very trim and healthy all at once.

The body you are building now needs to last you the rest of your life, so don't wreck it. Purging brings toxic stomach acid up your throat, causing it to erode by burning it and wrecks your teeth by eating the enamel off them. Don't do that anymore. Love yourself and treat yourself kinder.

You will see you can eat a lot of things and never be hungry and still stay very trim if you check out calorie counters on the web.

You probably have gotten your blood sugar out of whack with the anorexia. Get some good food in the house, and start eating regularly. Walk to get rid of stress and do some nice things for yourself like take up a hobby you always wanted to try. The time for self-abuse is over. Your body is telling you that.

Your body is low on what it needs and is demanding it from you. Get some nutrition in you and drink plenty. Good luck and good health to you.

P.S. If I walk 3-5 miles a day, I can eat just about anything and still lose one or two pounds a week and not gain any weight.

because your body was denied sweets for so long and now it wants them. try to just have a little treat once in awhile to curb the binging.

probably because you have been resisting them all together....

moderation is key....

If you treat yourself to a popsicle or a candy bar now and then, you won't binge like crazy.
