I think if god exists, his plan might be something like this:
create earth, provide sustenence for man, make man, give him knowledge, give him a set of rules, and move on to something else. If he is "our father", and when we are in "his house", we go over the set of rules he gave us (the bible), wouldnt he want us to leave the house and be on our own eventually? What do you think?

You are extremely close to the truth. Just read the first and second chapters of Genesis and the last two chapters of Revelation. That pretty much says it.
Except man screwed up and we need the rest of the Bible to get it right again.

He spells out perfectly what He wants. He wants us to live with Him for eternity. He loves us so much that He could not bear to loose us to Satan and so He gave us a redeemer, His own Son Jesus, to bring us salvation through His perfect blood sacrifice. By belief in Jesus and repentance of sin we are redeemed back to fellowship with God and a place with Him for eternity. He wants us to love Him and to spread the good news of Jesus to all. I cannot fathom being on my own without God. He is my strength, provider, and constant source of love and joy.

I think you are trying to over-analyze the motivations of the diety you worship.
