We would have to be very self centered to think otherwise. The same as many think that man is the only intelligent life form on Earth.

You could never say for sure that God didn't create life somewhere else since it's such a vast universe but I personally don't think he did. We are his special creation and the universe is just filled with wonders for us to ponder on his Glory. Even now, people dream of travelling to distant places to explore and perhaps one day we will, but how much sooner could we have done this had it not been for the Fall? When you see how vast the universe is, it makes it that much more special that he would care about this tiny little planet lost in the cosmos. Someday in heaven we can find out why he made just us but I believe we were never meant to have a sinful, disobedient world and without our sin nature holding us back, the universe may well have been ours for the exploring had things been different in the fall of Adam and Eve. If people lived to be 900 years old or older like in the old testament days, think how much more advanced we would be by now plus without death, disease, famines, wars, etc...
We are finding out how hard it is, one might say impossible, for any other planet in the whole universe to have the same qualities as ours and thus, sustain life--the presence of abundant liquid water which is critical, the distance to the sun, surface temperature, the orbit, the tilt of the axis, the other planets that sweep debris before it hits us, the position and influence of the moon on tides, the makeup of the atmosphere, the magnetic field that protects us from solar radiation, etc.. which makes it all the more likely and true that we are created....not just a fluke of nature. We are unique in all the universe...pretty amazing.

No, they cannot understand that the evolutionary mishap that occurred on this little speck of a planet Earth that gave birth to life is most likely happening an infinite number of times throughout the universe.
Creationists think that once you get above the clouds, you are in Heaven, when, in fact, Heaven is a state of mind. So is
religion.

I have no problem with a belief of life on other planets. Hypothetically speaking, our strange other worldly visitors that some so strongly believe in could be so advanced because they DID follow the rules "In the Beginning..."

the possibility, sure. the desire, no. an argument I hear oftentimes is that there might desire to be existence on different planets using vastness of area, implying that if there became no existence, it could all be "wasted area." that type of utilitarianism is human, no longer divine. God's economic equipment isn't comparable to ours, the place you will possibly desire to no longer "waste" area. God is approximately overflowing, excesses of love, excesses of creation, putting the main eye-catching megastar interior the main distant unseen galaxy.

Sure, why not?
God certainly is able to create life on other planets.
He created the whole universe, not just the earth.
Science and religion have always been the attempts of man
to explain and understand the things of God.

Why should it matter if there is life, or if there isn't?
From my viewpoint as a Christian, it really isn't my business unless I can talk to them, see them, or otherwise communicate with them.
