If you read the instructions on the Frontline, it will tell you not to bathe the dog before applying Frontline - it washes off the skin's natural oils that Frontline requires to work. Also, Frontline takes 24 hours to kill all fleas so you wouldn't see results by now anyway.

Flea shampoos also do not work, so I don't know what you mean by 'really powerful'.

What you've done isn't going to sort your flea problem out. You need to wait 24 hours, until the natural oils of your dog's skin have been restored, and then reapply the Frontline. Make sure it gets on the SKIN of the dog, not his fur.

Don't use any products from a pet store, they don't work. You only need Frontline, not anything else on top of it.

frontline takes a few days to work and you can NOT use any other flea meds with frontline it will make the frontline NOT work anymore ..Try treating your home now let the dog alone if you keep adding meds to it your going to make him sick!! Get some flea bombs do your home put powder on your carpet an vac then vac again in a few hours rember fleas hatch every 7 days so you will have to keep up untill they are gone

I've found fleas are becoming more immune to things-just like the head-lice situation.Frontline was aways the best of the best,so if that's stopped working i'm worrying ! Try to use a flea comb daily and treat the bedding area.Failing that, get an exterminator in to treat all your soft furnishings, skirting boards etc to break the cycle.

Buy HUMAN GRADE Diatomaceous Earth, it's safe if your dog ingests it - not from the hardware store or garden center. Sprinkle it around your baseboards, on carpets, on your dog's bedding (any place fleas might hide) and leave overnight. Flea infestation is a nightmare, I've been there. Good luck.

i was on here with the same problem. fleas get worse this time of year. flea drops wasnt working,so i got 3 in 1dog spray(hartz) you spray it all over the dog, then flea bomb the house. its nice to not see any on the dogs. we also sprayed the yard. 1st was the spray for the dogs and i was very happy with the results alone on that.
