I don't think so. because we don't all have body hair. god gave us body hair to help with the cold we gave our self the bandage. I think the guy who invented it had the pain thing in mind

Body hair used to serve as a protection against cold for early humans, however, now-a-days, most of our current body hair serves no particular purpose. Certain hair (e.g. scrotum) produces scents that are active in sexual behavior. But, the rest don't do anything.
You don't necessarily have to shave your leg. It's more of a cultural norm than a religious requirement... :-)

What an idea. It's unfair to assign anything painful or uncomfortable to God.Just because HE isn't around to say no or to kick a butt or two, doesn't mean we take undue advantage of his generosity.Very unfair.By the way, how's the other leg?

At one time we had more body hair to help keep us warm, just like most other mammals. When something no longer serves a useful purpose it either disappears totally or atrophies significantly.

Nope, that would be evolutionary leftovers. I am yet to see a christan make any form of valid argument as to why we have body hair. mind you god is just cruel enough to create "The Brazilian".
