Yes. God is present in every person but we happen to call it soul. Since a part of God is present in each member of Y/A, we should take it that HE too is a member. As regards to sorting out the man made friction, HE knows that he has much better work to do.

Depends on your aspect on the subject of God.
If you interpret God as the one who has full control over your life, then God is definitely here, in you and in all of us.
If God to you is actually a higher spiritual being, then I would presume the answer is no, though there may be a possibility.
If you don't believe in the existence of God, then God is not here, nor is he anywhere.
As for the prejudice going round, I say this:
Man created prejudice, only man can eliminate it.
Whether there is a God or not is not important. We shouldn't rely on a 'higher power' to sort out the problems we cause. We need to take responsibility for our actions, and create a positive future for ourselves.
For a Christian, being a good person gets you to heaven (debatable, but that's my opinion, so debatable can actually be a good thing). For an Atheist, it simply causes other people to be good to you.
Either way, being a good person brings good back to you, and we all need this. Does God's existence (or lack of) really matter in our lives?
((((hugs))))
May peace go with you throughout your life

I think any friction between the two religions is superficial and are only used to divide the people. On a fundamental level, both religions preach the same.
If God sorted out everything, then what's the point of creation...?

Well!! He might not be a member but He sure is behind many of the answers.
The differences between the to groups is one that we must resolve because we started it and God lets us choose the way we will go bad or good. Remember the free well thing He gave us.

Your sarcasm astounds me. What would God's being a member of Yahoo Answers have to do with solving the world's problems?
HE is not a puppet master. He does not pull the strings to FORCE us to do anything. Mankind CREATED the problems, not God. Be aware that the Christian God is not the God of the Muslims - Allah is.

God don't want to keep a judgement day for each one and everytime. He plans to bring all of humanity to a mass day all together on the Judgement day to finalize the matters. So prepare for the very truthful day. Deny or accept, we all will be there one day in the hereafter.
