Ya, even it is a big reason for changing the effiency..
The bigger the Rim is not always the better the performance.. and since the car will be heavier then the performance will be lower and need more fuel to move.

Yes it can make a difference. The bigger difference is the air in the tire, but having low profile rims can help with your gas mileage. They are a pain for auto shops to fix tire repairs on though.

The larger the wheel the less fuel effinient the car will be but it goes down in very small amounts.

in theory yes wieght and size, weight is obvious, and size if your motor is used to 15'' rims and you slam 20''s on there you are gonna have problems and the least of wich will be your fuel efficeincy
