Not only forced, but randomly. And assigned at birth. I'm not sure what this would solve, but hey, that's not what laws are for.

Marriage as defined cannot be between two people of the same gender. I don't think heterosexuals should be forced to marry. lol

Society believes that the classic marriage is the best institution to have and raise children. It's like a job description. Those who get the job are those who want it and are qualified.
