It's likely. Most people get mired in religion either because of childhood indoctrination, a need for authority figures and peer groups to validate their choices, or a weakness of character that responds to the paternalism of religious authority (pathological criminality or drug dependency, for example). "Not a joiner" generally means that you're intelligent and courageous enough to make your own decisions and cope with their consequences without the life-long crutch of an imaginary parental surrogate in the sky.

It might be part of the reason but it probably isn't the whole reason.

Probably contributed to it. When you're alone you spend more time thinking, and the more thinking you do, the more likely you'll be an atheist.

I don't know; I've never met you. More importantly, do you think that's why?

You have been decieved....

Psalm 14

1 The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
2 The LORD looks down from heaven
on the sons of men
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.

3 All have turned aside,
they have together become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.
