I have severe allergies to external sources...

So far, I am allergic to pollen, dust, mold, mildew, pet dander (dogs, cats, and anything else with fur), pollution/smog, some detergents/soaps, and these are just the ones that are known.

I have considerable sinus problems, and have not been without a sinus, ear, or throat infection (at least one and sometimes a combination of two or all) for as long as I can remember (at least age 5). I break out in hives to detergent and soaps that I'm allergic to, and even to dust and pollen on some occasions. If I get a scratch and it gets exposed to an allergen, it will swell up. Right now, I've got some allergy to something that only affects me regionally, and because it's year-round, it's probably smog and/or pollution. This allergy causes chronic debilatating migraines.

My sister actually developed dermagrafia, and exposure to allergies (hers are the same as mine) causes reactions that are more severe. For example, whereas I would get a little bit of hives in a certain area, she'll have them severly all over her body. Any contact with her skin results in at least red marks where the contact was made.

Baking Soda is a very strange allergy to have. In fact, you are the first.

I'm not a professional researcher by any means. But I think a lot more people are allergic to dust than actually know they are. I myself am prone to sneezing- a lot. So I have to watch for dust and pollen.

My brother is terribly allergic to bee stings: In fact, he has to go to the emergency room.

I am allergic to RAGWEED,animal dander, mold, grass and tree pollens.Have soom food allergys also, wheat, dairy, corn. My son has food allergys also.I am willing to bet, most people have food allergys and don`t even know it.It is very common in autism,in fact. Most people are not awhere of it though. There is a gut-brain connection in autism. If these kids have food allergys, and cannot digest their food, this can induce autism in some kids.Sound crazy.Check out The autism research institute and the DAN proticol for autism.

I am allergic to morphine (that you dentist that gave it to me and caused seizures); cats (but own 2); mold; tree pollen; milk and milk products; malt beer (probably just the malt or hops, but can have any malted beer product); and several varieties of non-poisonous house plants.
I do usually handle most of these well with Claritin, but have to stay totally away from a few like the morphine.
I am GLAD I am not allergic to SHRIMP.. I LOVE shrimp!!!

I'm allegric to Penecillin. I believe that the reaction is hives, but I am not 100% sure because I haven't had it since I was a small child and reacted. I don't even remember it happening.

Good Luck with your survey!

I am allergic to dust, pet dander and grass. My symptoms are quite mild but include nasal congestion, and itchy, watery eyes.

I am glad to not be allergic to something that is potentially deadly like nuts or bee stings (like my mom).
