Gays and lesbians or homosexuals are considered sub-humans. or weirdos; because they do not conform to society's concept about gender. Society readily attribute their lifesyle to choices they make in life. There are different views on this topic.

In my case, I believe, that there is chromosomal defects somewhere during the formation and development of the zygote or fertilized egg. Therefore it's not a question of choice but it's in the genes; preferably in the x or y chromosome from the biological father. Afterall, the male is usually the ultimate factor that determines the sex or gender of the offspring.

The main reason that I say this is because: a lot of gay people say: "I always felt like a woman or man .even when I was growing up. or I felt trapped in a man's or woman's body ." "Somehow, i wasn't comfortable in my own skin. I didn't fit ." And to prevent ridicule and be accepted by society ; they remained in the closet.

I don't believe that God wouldn't consider them as God's children any less.

Before any sex change operation, the usual practice is for the person seeking that procdure to be referred for psychological counselling. This is a standard procedure to determine their motives; expectations as well as frame of mind.

Whereas a child's sex is simply decided on the basis of the organs between the legs, its gender identity (self-identification as male or female) is decided by several complex factors which have still not been fully understood by the medical profession. This is what transsexualism is all about.

Gender identity is the sense of belonging that one feels for a particular sex, not only biologically but also psychologically and socially. It is an extremely subjective entity, which is independent of one's biological sex.

In-order to label a person as a transsexual the following criteria need to be satisfied :

The person must experience a sense of discomfort and inappropriateness about his/ her anatomic sex.
The person must have a desire to be rid of his/her own genitals and to live as a member of the opposite sex.
The disturbance needs to have been continuous for at least 2 years and not limited only to periods of stress.
There must not be any genetic abnormality or congenital sex hormone disorders.
There should be an absence of coexistent mental disorder such as schizophrenia.

There is no hard and fast age limit for gender change or reassignment operations. However, a few guidelines apply. Generally, patients present for surgery during late adolescence or early adulthood - an age group where sexuality must begin to manifest itself physically and the issue is no longer merely one of psychological and emotional conflict with one's sexuality

If Darwin actually created evolution, he is God. He was a scientist. He made observations which all seemed to support a very reasonable idea which is actually older than Christianity. In the mean time, we've made not a single discovery that would even so much as hint at the literal interpretation of Genesis. Maybe your blessing is really a curse in disguise, but I, myself have always been more of a one woman man. I try to keep the drama to a minimum. Good luck with those women that God so graciously gifted you to. You'll probably need it at some point.

Hi there !
Situations wherein the "phenotype" or the ourward expression, is different from the "genotype" , or the "genetic expression" , this sort of change of sex is advised.
Not that anybody can go to the OPD and get the sex altered in the existing medical scenario. . Maybe such a situation may come in another 10-20 years , who knows ?
best wishes !

Sex change, also called transsexuality, is a procedure by which an individual of one sex is hormonally and surgically altered to attain the characteristics of the other sex. A male is changed into a female or a female into a male, complete with altered genitalia and other secondary sex characteristics.

It has been estimated that one male in every 20,000-30,000 wants to become female. The number of females who desire a sex change is not known, but it is estimated that for every female wishing a sex change there may be four males.

Transsexuals usually see themselves as being of the wrong sex early in life. They feel that they are trapped in the wrong body. Though they have sexual desires for persons of the same sex, it is not as a homosexual. A homosexual, one who desires a sexual relationship with someone of his or her own sex, is comfortable with his sex and does not desire to change. The transsexual views himself as a female (or herself as a male) and visualizes his female persona as being mated to a male. As children, transsexuals often will play with the toys of the opposite sex and sometimes will cross dress in clothing of the opposite sex. They also may be more comfortable socializing with members of the opposite sex inasmuch as they view themselves as having similar likes, dislikes, and desires.
