Australia and New Zealand have basically the same politics and government. Americans are most welcomed there.

They're pretty much the same. Australia and New Zealand were both colonised by the British and as a result the hand of British law and ways can be seen via New Zealand and Australian law. Over time there have been more differences coming as change is implemented.

And Americans are generally welcome in both Australia and New Zealand (depends on the individual in question).
