IF your one that has NEVER had 'some' type of supernatural experience, and still don't believe it can happen--what you think people who go through these type of situations are merely imagining things?

It's strange what kinds of excuses people make up just because they are too scared to believe in something which many would not have you know about.

Even if you have had one you still couldn't be sure it exists.

The problem though with those things is that people have been trying for more than a hundred years to reproduce them and all that ends up happening as you make the experiment better is that what you're looking for disappears, when something is real making a better experiment results in a clearer signal but when making an experiment better results in the effect disappearing it probably means that the effect wasn't real but was just an artefact of a bad experiment.

When one considers how easy humans are to confuse, especially when we want to believe something it is wise not to believe.

Because of the reason that you have stated, because I have never experienced none of it. I can't say what people go through or not, or if they are imagining it. But if some one had proof, I would look at it, because I have an open mind. But so far, no one has been able to show me proof. But if they believe it, who am I to say they haven't. I just don't believe it myself and I have a right to my opinion, just like atheists who don't believe in God, and want more proof.
I believe in Angels though.

Ever heard of sleep paralysis? Just one example of your brain messing with you. You can go look it up for yourself on Wikipedia- it's particularly important due to the sheer number of people who have believed in supernatural beings throughout history because of it. Your mind can do funny things to you, it's just when you believe irrational things and don't research these "paranormal" events when things get problematic.

First answerer, we use science and psychiatry, not excuses.

Actually... most of the time our bodies and environment likes to play tricks on us. And it's been proven so many times.

Doesn't mean you have to stop investigating or searching either. There are a lot of unexplainable events too as well.

people only believe what they see. even religious people. they say they have faith but if they were sitting in their car and god came to their window do you think they would roll up their windows, lock the doors and drive away or bow down?
