I for one would be highly amused and would offer the hand of fellowship. What would you do if the rest of the congregation disapproved?

Thes ones are warmly welcomed as interested ones.

I would welcome her and make her feel at ease. If the rest of the congregation disapproved, I would find myself another Church to worship in.
