If you are looking for a project to conduct that will assist others and help your environment, then I would recommend a "Hazardous Waste Amnesty Day".
Contact your state department of environmental quality and get them to help you dispose of the collected materials, and you will promote it.
It is the best project that can be conducted because waste materials such as antifreeze, paints, oils, fuels do not get washed down a storm drain.
