There is no 'better" branch of the service. All perform somewhat different functions. There's often no valid basis for comparison.

Its not really a question of which is better, we are all fighting for the same thing and every branch has its good and bad qualities, i am in the air force, but i can not tell you which would be best for you, i dont think anyone can tell you that. Have you been to a Navy or AF recruiter? sometimes you just need to go talk to someone who is in both and find out which one would be best for your life. With the Navy you would travel a lot, but also being an officer/pilot in the air force you would travel a lot too, our deployments are also becoming longer. So just go find out information for yourself, asking on here is just going to get the AF people to say the AF and the Navy people to say the Navy, and if there are some in the army or the marines of couse they all think they are better, so this isnt really a good way to find out which branch is "better".

Even though forty years have passed and I was in the Navy, there are good things and bad things to be said for both services. In the Navy you learn how to do carrier take-offs and landings, in the Air Force you get intensive training and more. And the food is better too.
