Or do students in medical school have to do things like this anyway before they even choose their specialty? Pretty much, i want to know if there is any way to become a doctor and avoid having to do things like draw blood, give shots, do surgeries, things like that, that make some people queasy. And if so, what medical specialties can avoid this. Thanks!

Stuff like that shouldn't get to you after doing a cadaver dissection. Either way, you have to do all of it as part of your third and fourth year rotations.

You might consider medical research , such as Cancer research . This requires a concentrated study of Bio- Chemistry and Biology , but the rewards are wonderful when you have solved even a small part of finding something that will benefit people . There is nothing more exciting than to see the reaction of something you have personally developed . However be ready to suffer long hours and some disappointments along the way ... As a suggestion you might make a concentrated study on Thermodynamic energy generation of the human cell - be prepared to enter a world within the human cell . It's the most exciting journey you will ever take , and you may find the answer to the destruction of the cancer cell. You will need a fair knowledge of quantum Physics too .( which is the study of free flow energy ) good luck and God bless you ...

Psychiatrist, they are doctors but doesn't go through all that.PHD. Pedia is one. Still this specialties may have to use a needle or two if needed but I don't think you can pass even the psychology test before entering a college or university under medical courses with that fear. But these two don't go surgery.

A psychiatrist can prescribe medicine, so I would clasify that as the medical field.

He is correct, though, a psychiatrist is exactly the type of medical specialty that fits what you're looking for.

Any doctor has to do minimum needle work and minor surgeries. Even a psychiatrist injects mild narcotics to unearth hidden thoughts and emotions. Moreover a psychiatrist who does not rule out a physical disease before starting psychotherapy is malpractising.

Consider being a psychologist, psychoanalyst, or psychiatrist. They have fancy titles and initials after their names too.
And they're called Doctor... although it isn't a medical doctor.
You'd have an PhD instead of an MD.

As part of a basic medical education, you will be required to draw blood, give shots and wound care. Consider, dermatology (skin doctor). They never have emergencies and their patients don't die on them.
